Months after a male Ebola survivor tested negative for the disease, he transmitted the deadly virus to a female partner through unprotected sex.

The Liberian woman, who became ill with the disease and is now dead, is the first person known to contract the Ebola virus from sex, researchers reported this week in the New England Journal of Medicine. Typically, people contract Ebola from direct contact with the blood or other bodily fluids from a sick or recently deceased patient.
But experts knew that the Ebola virus can linger in patients after they’ve recovered. And they
speculated that sexual transmission was possible. After the virus is cleared from a patient’s blood, it can turn up in semen and other fluids for weeks or months—as long as nine months, new data suggest.

This was the case for the male survivor, also Liberian, when he transmitted the virus to his partner. His blood tested negative for the virus 155 days before the pair had sex. But semen samples taken after the woman fell ill revealed he was still shedding the virus.
Genetic sequencing revealed that the two were infected with identical viruses, distinct from other versions of the Ebola virus circulating in Western Africa. The finding leaves little doubt of direct transmission between the survivor and his partner.
Still, sexual transmission may not pose a significant threat to public health. In an accompanying editorial, Armand Sprecher of Doctors Without Borders wrote that “sexual transmission remains a rare event,” noting that there are 17,000 survivors of the most recent Ebola outbreak. If sexual transmission were common, he wrote, there would be many more cases.
Let's continue with something from UK.. Prince William.

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, spoke of losing his mother in a moving address at a dinner in Whitehall for the 21st anniversary of Child Bereavement UK (CBUK). The Prince, who was 15 when Princess Diana was killed in a Paris car crash told the charity, which supports families experiencing bereavement, that his mother would be “immensely proud” of their work.

He nevertheless praised volunteers and staff for the “enormous, positive difference” they made to the parents and children supported by the charity, of which he is a patron, and said he understood their importance even more now that he is a father of two.

Prince William also added that the organisation “embraces strangers at the darkest moments in their life”. The charity was first launched in 1994 with Diana as a keen supporter and William said his mother had recognised the grief losing a child can cause.

"Twenty-one years ago last month, my mother attended the launch of the Child Bereavement Charity. Fifteen years later, I was honoured to be invited to become Patron of Child Bereavement UK to continue my mother's commitment to a charity which is very dear to me. What my mother recognised back then – and what I understand now – is that grief is the most painful experience that any child or parent can endure. But my mother was determined to help those in need and she would have been immensely proud – as I am – of all that Child Bereavement UK has achieved these last 21 years. "CBUK works with military families, with the wrecked families of suicide victims, with little children whose lives have been torn apart by the inexplicable death of a parent. And yet amid all this misery, CBUK - and I don't know how they do this - brings warmth, comfort, a guiding hand, a way through, even colour and joyfulness, and a renewed opportunity for love as a family reknits itself after tragedy."
Many of you may be wondering where I've been hiding for sometime now, but you know, sh*d happens.. For some of you, I may look like one funny young lady who's trying things out to see which one will work out just fine... Some of you on the other hand unfortunately are waiting for the day I just quit and go like "I knew she wouldn't last long". Well I'm sorry but I've got bad news.. I came in hard with this, and I'm going on hard until the word "tired" itself gets tired! I was busy with school stuff and some personal issues but now I'm back and I came back with something interesting..

The Ghana Black Stars have done it again!! Congratulations to them for qualifying to the finals.

The match ended with a scoreline of 3-0 against Equatorial Guinea, with the 1st goal from Jordan Ayew in a penalty, 2nd from Wakaso and the last goal from Andre Dede Ayew.

The Ghanaian team are to play against the Ivorians on Sunday, 8th February, 2015 to battle out for the African Cup. On the other hand, Equatorial Guinea will play a match against Dr. Congo prior to the finals on Sunday.

Now this is no where near funny; its not something we should be laughing about, although a lot of people are making fun of the situation. He's 90 years for crying out loud!
The 90-year-old President of Zimbabwe who had returned from Ethiopia, was making his way down from a raised podium at the airport when he missed a step and fell to the ground.

Mugabe’s security team was quick to step in, surrounding the president and helping him the rest of the way to a parked limousine.

As the car sped away, officials turned their attention to the TV cameras and photographers present. A number of journalists told the Associated Press they were forced to delete their pictures of the incident by security personnel.
Mugabe’s press spokesperson is yet to comment on the incident.

Alvaro Eduardo Guzman-Telles
A 29-year-old man from Detroit threatened to behead the New York Police Officer who put Eric Garner in a chokehold, that resulted in his death, and he was indicted by a Grand Jury for his actions.
According to a criminal complaint, obtained byBuzzFeedAlvaro Eduardo Guzman-Telles wrote in a Facebook post, “Kill all cops on sight. No matter the circumstance.” When a commenter brought up the officer who killed Garner, he then responded, “I’m going to personally kill and behead Daniel Pantaleo. This is a written threat and has to be taken extremely seriously.”
The NY Daily News reports that his mother claims that her son has Asperger syndrome, and didn’t mean to write the posts. He was instructed by her to delete the posts after writing them in December 2014, but cops found that never happened when they visited her on January 1st.
The site reports:
He was arrested Jan. 7 in New Mexico and a Michigan grand jury indicted him Jan. 27, officials said.
The bereft mom told the Daily News her son says things he doesn’t mean because of his autism.
Asperger syndrome is a highly functional form of autism and can hinder the ability to behave appropriately in certain social situations.
Before threatening Pantaleo, Guzman-Telles posted general threats against cops, including, “Kill all cops on sight. No matter the circumstances,” according to the criminal complaint from Michigan.
After other posters made comments, Guzman-Telles wrote that he “stands behind his words.”
Guzman-Telles is in police custody at this current time, and his bail hearing is set for this Friday.

Is it just a coincidence that these two have a striking resemblance to each other or there's some relation between them. Enzo Ferrari, the founder of Ferrari, died in 1988, same year Mesut Özil, a footballer was born. Maybe he's been replaced... (Just saying).
